Responsibilities

- Develop error mitigation strategies achieving >99.9% fidelity in quantum gate operations
- Secure $10M+ in federal grants and venture capital for quantum research initiatives
- Author patents for quantum-resistant encryption methods and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and publish in Nature Physics/Science
- Present breakthroughs at Davos and IEEE Quantum Week conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing research
- Published 10+ peer-reviewed papers on quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of securing NSF/DARPA grants for quantum research
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience leading teams of 10+ researchers in high-stakes R&D environments
- Patents in quantum computing or cryptography strongly preferred
