Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for enterprise-scale systems
- Lead cross-functional research teams to develop quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and national quantum initiatives
- Translate quantum research into patentable IP with commercial applications
- Present findings to C-suite executives and government innovation boards
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles
- Define technical standards for quantum security frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development with published research
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience leading technical teams in high-stakes R&D environments
