Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm research and development targeting 2026 commercial applications

- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international quantum computing conferences
- Manage a team of quantum researchers and engineers while fostering innovation culture
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and quantum hardware manufacturers
- Secure and manage research grants from government and private sector funding sources
- Monitor quantum computing industry trends and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development and error-correction techniques
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum simulators
- Strong publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Experience leading research teams and managing complex scientific projects
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ions, photonic)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical commercial applications
