Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum system development
- Secure $10M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA initiatives
- Develop quantum encryption protocols for next-gen cybersecurity infrastructure
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science from Tier-1 institution
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development with IBM Q or Rigetti systems
- Published record in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit architectures
- Experience securing federal research grants exceeding $5M
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum circuit optimization
- Security clearance eligibility (DoD Level 5)
