Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and simulation applications
- Mentor PhD researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants and partnerships
- Publish breakthrough findings in Nature/Science journals
- Develop quantum-resistant security protocols for enterprise clients
- Collaborate with MIT and CERN on quantum communication standards
- Drive commercialization of quantum computing patents
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Strong background in error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience securing government/DoD research funding
- Proven track record of mentoring quantum researchers
