Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for fault-tolerant computing
- Develop novel quantum error-correction techniques for 100+ qubit systems
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world industry applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Lead research initiatives in topological quantum computing approaches
- Document breakthrough methodologies and publish in leading journals
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS + 5 years experience considered)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or algorithm design
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level hardware interfacing
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave engineering
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
