Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum error mitigation strategies to enhance system reliability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Create technical roadmaps for quantum computing integration in commercial systems
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in leading scientific journals
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and system designs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and circuit design
- Proven track record of publishing quantum computing research in peer-reviewed journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Familiarity with NISQ-era hardware constraints and hybrid computing models
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
