Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms and error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Design scalable quantum hardware interfaces and optimize qubit coherence times
- Drive quantum-resistant cybersecurity implementations for enterprise clients
- Pioneer quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Secure $10M+ in R&D grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge research methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance computing
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit design tools
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum systems
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Strong background in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
- Track record of securing federal or industry research funding
