Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with 1000+ qubit capabilities
- Develop error-correction frameworks achieving >99.9% fidelity
- Create hybrid quantum-AI optimization engines for logistics and drug discovery
- Architect secure quantum communication networks resistant to decryption
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists and software engineers
- Establish quantum-computing-as-a-service (QCaaS) infrastructure
- Publish research in Nature Physics and IEEE Transactions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum systems with demonstrated qubit scaling
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum materials
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
