Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for practical fault-tolerant computation
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Conduct performance modeling and optimization for quantum algorithms
- Partner with hardware teams to advance qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Develop quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
