Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers in algorithm optimization
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to implement quantum solutions in finance and logistics
- Author peer-reviewed research publications in top-tier journals
- Secure $2M+ in government grants for quantum research initiatives
- Mentor junior scientists in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm design or hardware architecture
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Proficiency with quantum simulators (Qiskit, Cirq) and cloud platforms
- Track record of securing federal research grants
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience mentoring quantum research teams
