Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit fault tolerance
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead quantum system integration with classical HPC infrastructure
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography
- Mentor quantum engineers and researchers in cutting-edge methodologies
- Collaborate with NASA, IBM Research, and academic partners on quantum initiatives
- Pioneer error correction techniques for practical quantum advantage
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum system architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting qubits or ion trap systems
- Proven track record of leading technical teams in R&D environments
