Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms and error-corrected circuits for 100+ qubit systems
- Design photonic interconnects linking classical-quantum hybrid architectures
- Develop fault-tolerant protocols for NISQ-era quantum advantage applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum machine learning pipelines
- Optimize quantum annealing solutions for logistics and drug discovery domains
- Establish industry standards for quantum security post-quantum cryptography
- Secure $1M+ in quantum computing research grants annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware integration
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Expertise in topological quantum computing and Majorana fermions
- Experience securing quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Track record of leading quantum computing patents or open-source projects
