Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms and error-correction architectures for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing pipelines for enterprise clients
- Secure patents for breakthrough quantum methodologies
- Present quarterly progress to the CTO and board of directors
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Partner with MIT and Stanford on quantum hardware integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum machine learning models
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding
- Fluency in Python, C++, and assembly-level quantum hardware programming
