Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms and circuits for commercial applications in finance, logistics, and pharmaceuticals
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise clients
- Develop error mitigation protocols for 1,000+ qubit systems
- Create quantum-resistant security protocols for critical infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Collaborate with academic partners on quantum supremacy benchmarks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years designing quantum algorithms on real hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, color codes)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# programming environments
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
