Responsibilities
- Design and develop fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization and hardware-software integration
- Establish quantum security protocols and error-correction frameworks for critical systems
- Develop quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics and optimization
- Collaborate with government and industry partners on quantum standardization initiatives
- Present quantum computing breakthroughs at international conferences and publish research papers
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Q#, Cirq) and classical optimization tools
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing principles
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Strong background in complex mathematical modeling and high-performance computing
- Security clearance eligibility preferred for government contract work
