Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives in cryogenic quantum systems
- Develop error correction protocols for quantum coherence
- Translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor quantum engineering interns and junior researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
