Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems leveraging IBM Q, Rigetti, and D-Wave platforms
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world business applications
- Lead quantum-resistant cryptography implementations for enterprise security
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits with error correction protocols
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate quantum acceleration into machine learning pipelines
- Establish quantum computing benchmarks and performance optimization frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum principles and practical implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Q#, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction techniques
- Track record of deploying quantum solutions in cloud environments (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
