Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable quantum computing infrastructure for enterprise applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and qubit stability
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world problem-solving
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing systems
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Present architectural blueprints and technical roadmaps to executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior quantum engineers on best practices and emerging standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or development
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithms
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
