Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms and error-correction frameworks for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers to build quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures for enterprise clients
- Research and implement novel qubit technologies including superconducting and photonic systems
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum supremacy breakthroughs
- Translate complex quantum concepts into actionable product roadmaps
- Secure patents for quantum computing innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or industry development
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction, and hardware-software integration
- Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
