Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with >1000 qubit capabilities
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving 99.9% fidelity thresholds
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for cryptography, materials science, and AI
- Establish industry partnerships for quantum-cloud integration solutions
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets for quantum hardware prototyping
- Author peer-reviewed publications on quantum supremacy milestones
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or superconducting qubit design
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Experience securing DoD/NSF quantum research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Certification in quantum security protocols (e.g., NIST IR 8100)
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
