Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable quantum computing architectures for complex computational problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing systems
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum technologies and methodologies
- Lead the development of quantum algorithms and error correction techniques
- Ensure the security and reliability of quantum systems against potential threats
- Present technical findings and architectural designs to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the quantum computing team
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing, quantum information theory, or a related field
- Strong background in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, and quantum hardware
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and quantum-specific languages like Q# or Quil
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and quantum services (Braket, Quantum, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and mentor team members
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in quantum technologies
