Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for real-world problems
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies into scalable systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant operations
- Create performance benchmarks and optimization strategies for quantum systems
- Collaborate with government agencies on national quantum initiatives
- Mentor junior scientists in quantum physics and engineering principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum system architecture or related quantum technologies
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and information theory
- Track record of translating quantum theory into practical applications
- Certification in quantum security protocols (preferred)
