Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures optimized for error correction and fault tolerance
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography, materials science, and optimization
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical HPC infrastructure
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum processor specifications and performance benchmarks
- Establish quantum security protocols for enterprise deployments
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing principles and best practices
- Drive innovation in quantum software frameworks and development tools
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, and quantum circuit design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical HPC frameworks
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave, or IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams in agile environments
