Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with >1000 qubit capacity
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving <10^-9 logical error rates
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead quantum cryptography implementations for secure communications
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems
- Establish industry standards for quantum benchmarking
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE Quantum Computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Deep understanding of superconducting qubit technologies
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
