Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum software frameworks for real-world applications
- Lead quantum error correction protocol implementation in cloud environments
- Collaborate with security teams to develop post-quantum cryptographic standards
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Computing Symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and noise mitigation techniques
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with AWS Braket or Azure Quantum cloud platforms
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
