Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving 99.99% quantum gate fidelity
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum stack development
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to implement quantum solutions for real-world challenges
- Author white papers and technical documentation for quantum computing standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years quantum computing experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Physical Review X)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, topological, color codes)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong track record of translating theoretical quantum concepts into practical implementations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for quantum decoherence and noise mitigation
