Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in building fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum computing interfaces for enterprise clients
- Publish breakthrough research in IEEE Nature journals
- Secure $10M+ in government/industry grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Architect quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols for 2026 deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years building quantum circuits with >100 qubits
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# frameworks
- Experience securing DARPA/NASA quantum research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
- Portfolio of deployed quantum solutions in production environments
- Expertise in quantum machine learning algorithms
