Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with 1000+ qubit capabilities
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum systems operating at 99.99% fidelity
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for 2026-era use cases
- Architect quantum security protocols resistant to future decryption threats
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum principles and implementation
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum systems with demonstrated fault-tolerance achievements
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science or IEEE Quantum journals
- Proficiency with quantum circuit simulation and optimization tools
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
