Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Create documentation and training materials for quantum system deployment and maintenance
- Stay current with quantum industry trends and emerging hardware advancements
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Strong background in superconducting qubit manipulation and quantum error correction
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects from concept to implementation
