Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in prototyping solutions
- Develop performance benchmarks for quantum encryption protocols using AWS Braket
- Collaborate with government agencies on post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQC)
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing fundamentals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Cryptography, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or post-quantum cryptography
- Experience with large-scale quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit Aer, Q#)
- Familiarity with NIST PQC standardization process
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into production-ready code
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
