Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms leveraging AI optimization techniques
- Lead research on quantum neural networks and hybrid quantum-classical architectures
- Develop error mitigation protocols for quantum machine learning models
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-AI integrated systems
- Publish high-impact research in leading journals and present at international conferences
- Secure and manage research funding through NSF and DARPA partnerships
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum machine learning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Strong background in machine learning and deep learning architectures
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Expertise in Python and high-performance scientific computing (NumPy, SciPy)
