Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning models for high-dimensional data processing
- Develop novel quantum neural network architectures leveraging Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum algorithms for practical deployment
- Lead research publications in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional teams in quantum principles
- Secure research funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Machine Learning (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum machine learning systems
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming libraries
- Published research in quantum machine learning or related fields
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
