Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for next-gen AI systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in developing error-corrected quantum processors
- Author peer-reviewed publications on quantum supremacy applications
- Translate quantum computing theory into commercial-grade software solutions
- Advise on ethical frameworks for quantum AI deployment in 2026 ecosystems
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum annealing or gate-based systems
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Python, Qiskit, and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
- Proven track record of translating theory to scalable prototypes
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects (or ability to obtain)
