Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for NISQ-era hardware
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-AI hybrid computational frameworks
- Author breakthrough research papers for top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Optimize quantum circuits for real-world applications in drug discovery and climate modeling
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design next-generation quantum processors
- Secure $10M+ in government and industry research grants
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry research
- Published work in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms (arXiv citations required)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Track record of securing research funding or patents in quantum technologies
