Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural networks for real-time brain-computer interfaces
- Lead research in quantum-optimized deep learning architectures
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Collaborate with neuroscientists to model and simulate cortical processing
- Secure federal grants and partnerships with quantum hardware manufacturers
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum machine learning methodologies
- Translate theoretical models into patentable quantum AI applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Neuroscience with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and ML frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum information systems
- Proven track record of leading cross-disciplinary research teams
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with neuromorphic hardware and brain-computer interfaces
- Strong background in tensor networks and quantum variational algorithms
