Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical AI architectures for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and machine learning engineers
- Develop error-corrected quantum algorithms for real-world problem-solving
- Secure $5M+ in research funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Publish 3+ groundbreaking papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Collaborate with Intel, IBM, and Google on quantum-hardware integration
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum machine learning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related computational field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum/AI conferences (QIP, NeurIPS)
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum cloud platforms
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum error correction codes
- Track record of securing federal research grants
- Strong background in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
