Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans and box trucks for local and regional deliveries.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secured and handled with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers, verifying deliveries and collecting payments when necessary.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital paperwork using company software.
- Manage time efficiently to meet strict delivery schedules and route requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License required; Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and navigating GPS systems.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
