Responsibilities
- Safely load, secure, and unload cargo from the delivery van.
- Follow designated delivery routes and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and electronic logging device (ELD) entries.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent state driver’s license with appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience driving commercial vans or box trucks.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years (MVR check required).
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging deliveries and accessing route maps.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends.
