Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans to transport goods and materials to designated delivery points throughout the Baltimore metropolitan area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring items are secured properly and handling merchandise with care.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, digital paperwork, and customer signatures using mobile applications.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C CDL (Commercial Driver's License) or equivalent driver's license.
- A clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial driving or delivery.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with the Baltimore, MD area and surrounding regions.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
