Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and materials across Seattle and surrounding areas
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and GPS tracking compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle client inquiries professionally
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo and secure items according to safety protocols
- Participate in ongoing safety training and uphold company driving standards
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial van or box truck driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
- Proficiency using GPS navigation systems and delivery management software
- Strong knowledge of Seattle roadways, traffic patterns, and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent; CDL Class B preferred
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
