Responsibilities
- Safely operate 15-20 ft cargo vans for timely local deliveries across Houston metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic proof-of-delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adapt routes dynamically to optimize delivery efficiency and meet client deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with all federal/state transportation regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and problem-solving
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with cargo vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and maneuver packages safely
- Strong knowledge of Houston area geography and navigation systems
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Excellent time management skills with attention to delivery precision
- Professional communication skills for client and team interactions
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
