Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A or B trucks in a safe, efficient, and legal manner at all times.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are properly secured and protected during transit.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure zero accidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and the safety department.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check) with no serious violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety procedures, and cargo handling.
- Basic computer skills for logging and electronic reporting.
