Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely using proper handling techniques.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Report mechanical issues immediately to maintenance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
