Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy machinery on various routes.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently using proper equipment.
- Ensure all cargo is properly secured and compliant with safety regulations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DOT compliant).
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delays.
Qualifications
- Clean Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT drug screen on file.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and driving record review.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate driving regulations.
- Physical stamina to lift cargo and sit for extended periods of time.
