Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of cargo, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred, but entry-level candidates with a clean record are encouraged to apply.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
