Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over various road conditions and terrains.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required DOT paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any vehicle issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) and DOT Drug Screen.
- Minimum of 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
