Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance.
- Manage cargo documentation accurately, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and manifests.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight to designated locations in the Southeast region.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while upholding company standards for customer service.
- Participate in ongoing safety training, fleet maintenance updates, and compliance reviews.
- Uphold a drug-free workplace and adhere to all DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination (Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems.
- Strong commitment to safety, time management, and reliability.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
