Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) for long-haul routes across the continental US
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation for all shipments
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time updates and route adjustments
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pick-up interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Clean background check and no major violations in past 3 years
