Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for long-haul routes across designated regions
- Perform pre-trip inspections, safety checks, and basic maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS systems while adapting to traffic/weather conditions
- Handle cargo loading/unloading with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and electronic logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment familiarization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
